No special hardware, no fee per device. Here is what you need and what works.
PC & laptop
Windows, macOS or Chromebook in the browser: as a till at the counter and for admin work in the office.
Android app
The adisyo app for Android 8.0 and up, with kiosk mode: the tablet stays in adisyo, also for self-service.

We use Blackview ourselves: waterproof, shockproof and with a big battery for long shifts. The adisyo app runs on them in kiosk mode.
Kitchen display
Any tablet or screen with a browser shows orders live, with its own display for each station. Included in the core module.
Epson receipt printer
Network printers with Epson ePOS print order tickets, bills and the Z report fully automatically, without a print dialog. By cable (LAN) or Wi-Fi, 80 or 58 mm paper.
Other printers
Star, Bixolon, USB or office printers print via the browser’s print dialog. If Chrome runs in kiosk printing mode, the dialog is skipped too.
Card terminal
SumUp or Stripe terminal: the amount goes from the till to the device automatically and is booked once paid. Device and card fees with the provider.
Kiosk & customer display
A tablet at the entrance becomes an ordering kiosk with card payment. A second screen shows the guest the basket, the amount and the digital receipt via QR.
Internet & Wi-Fi
A normal internet connection is enough. If it drops, orders stay on the device and are sent automatically later; a mobile hotspot works as a backup.
Connect a receipt printer
Three steps.
Then it prints.
This is how you set up an Epson printer with ePOS. A device in the same network, such as the till or the kitchen display, sends the tickets to the printer and has to be switched on for that.

Connect
Connect the printer to the router by cable (LAN) or Wi-Fi. The IP address is on the status slip (hold FEED while switching on); assign it permanently in the router.

Add in the panel
In the panel under Receipt printer: choose a name (e.g. Kitchen), type Epson, the IP address and the stations that should print there.

Test print
On the till or kitchen tablet, allow the connection once and tap Test print. The ticket comes out in seconds.
